Do you want more website leads?
Well, this isn’t about driving more traffic to your website to obtain more website leads, it’s about using existing data that is available to generate more leads, how does this work I hear you say?
Using Google Analytics which is the de-facto standard software for gathering information about your website traffic, we can analyse facts about how many visitors came to your website, from whereabouts, how did they get there, where did they go etc etc. Now we can go one step further and actually see the details of each visitor such as their name, telephone number and location!
Wow! How cool is that! Now you can contact the people who visited your website and follow up on any potential sales. Of course, there is always the problem of calling rival companies or marketing companies but the point is that people visit your website looking for your products and/or services but for whatever the reason they do not decide to contact you and this is a fantastic opportunity to gain intelligence information of potential customers.
Businesses spend thousands on databases of potential customers and they usually cannot provide data on this level, the quality of this data is rather unique. Finding a database supplier to not only profile potential customers but to confirm all the same attributes is almost impossible on a tight budget, which let’s face it, anyone and everyone who operates a business post-Brexit is tightening their budgets. On that note, investing in digital marketing is non-negotiable for businesses in 2017 and if you haven’t yet planned how you will use digital marketing, you best get started! How do you obtain website analytics data?
First of all you need a website that has Google Analytics setup, if your not sure if you have this, you need to ask your website designer or contact us. Within your Google analytics account you then have to setup an addon which will provide the data such as the Fastbase Google Analytics Tracking Add-on. Then all that is needed is analyse the information and extract it into a spreadsheet ready for your sales team.
Obviously, you will get a better conversion rate if you strike while the iron’s hot, as soon so get a website hit, contact the potential customer and marvel at the fact that your lead is so impressed with your skills already that they are putty in your hands!
